This 1929 Henderson KJ was acquired by a friend of mine 14 years ago along with 15 other rare motorcycles, that was stored on a barn in Virginia. The family was settling an estate and this bike was last ridden in 1971 by the owner and was last registered and licensed in Washington DC in 1971. I bought it last year and cleaned the gas tanks, installed a new wiring harness, replaced the fuel lines, new tires and put fresh oil in it. The bike starts easily and run/rides as it should. The lights, horn and gauges work but the ammeter and oil pressure gauge is not original, and the carburetor is not correct, as it is a Harley carb. It appears the bike was repainted in the 1950's or 60's, I can' be sure, but the patina is great!!!! I really hate to sell it but I have decided to downsize my collection and free up some room in my garage. If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them or you can call me at 704-608-6300. Thanks, RichardOn Nov-03-17 at 09:41:51 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine cases and cylinders have never been repaired and the engine cases are original and matching number. On Nov-03-17 at 14:37:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I put 30,000 miles in the listing, as I had to put something in that field. The speedometer shows 42,000 and is functional, so I am not sure of the actual mileage.
