Offering this unfinished and modified 1959 Cushman Model 725 Road King step-thru motorscooter project. This scooter was displayed assembled at the 1992 Cushman Nationals in Springfield, Missouri (see last photo showing this display), but after I got it home, I didn't have enough shop space to park it, so I disassembled it for storage. And now I don't have enough time to finish it, so I am offering it for sale. This Road Ace (upgraded Road King) is being offered to you by the documented 1990 inventor of the "Baby Harley" -- the Cushman Silver Eagle with a V-twin engine, now called the Screaming Eagle Ė Rodney Rom of Romís Reworks in Butler, MO. As the photos show, this Road King chassis has been correctly modified to accept the new Kohler M18 opposed-twin engine with vibration-isolated mounting for smooth running, and Comet golf-cart style variable-speed pulley drive. The four anti-vibration mounts on the engine-mount sub-rails are the same OEM P/N 810150 vibration isolators used on the ...

Barn fresh original, not restored, gorgeous scooter. Runs and drives great, clean TX title and original 1960 plates. It has 504 original miles on it. Mostly used as a show and parade bike. I bought this bike 11 years ago, from a gentleman in Texas. He was selling it due to health issues and didn't want to risk wrecking it. He gave me this history on the bike: There was a Corvette dealership (Ft Worth area?) that was giving away Cushman scooters with the purchase of a new Vette. One guy didn't want the free scooter, so it was parked in the back of the showroom. Later, it was displayed in the showroom of the dealership. At a later point, the dealership was closed and inventory was evacuated. The owner's son took possession of this scooter and kept it for a while before selling it to his friend. Later, this 3rd gentleman bought it, showed it and rode in parades until his health declined. It does show a little age, a paint chip here or there, but no dents at all. You'll be hard pressed to ...

Restored Cushman model 53 Airborne scooter. This scooter is a late military version with the vin #43545 stamped on the frame. I have had it for many years. I completely restored this bike including the engine, transmission, wheels & brakes. I test rode this bike for a short time & drained the gas & kept it inside my office on display with my other scooters. it is in excellent condition. you would be hard pressed to find finer example. I got this bike from the wife of a gentleman that that worked on the Navy base in San Diego California where it was used as a messenger bike on the base.I also have a Flight line (yellow) Cushman model 53 from the Navy & an 82nd Airborne that will be listed For those that question the fork on this Cushman 53, please look at the photo of the Cushman model 53 in England. it appears to have the same pencil spring fork as this bike. The Cushman Airborne, model 53, known as the Parascooter, was a one-cylinder, kick-started, 4.6-horsepower, gasoline motor with ...

Up for sale is my 1962 black Cushman Silver Eagle motor scooter. It has not been restored and is mostly all original. It has the Vanguard Twin V Engine with 18 HP vs. the older 5 HP Engine. It runs great, starts right up. It has horn, lights, speedometer and odometer with 350 miles driven since Vanguard update. Also included is a brand new electric starter in addition to a hand pulled starter. I have included the sidecar. This bike is fast! I have never driven it a fast as it will go. Judging the top speed would be about 60 MPH. It has front and rear brakes that can be applied separately. The sidecar is black and is for storage. Trying to haul anything on any bike is very difficult without it. It has been removed, but can be easily attached to frame with included hardware. With the sidecare, one has plenty of room for packing your gear for a road trip or just a trip to the grocery store. The speed and acceleration are lessoned, but with the 18 HP Vanguard Twin V, it is minimal. I found ...
