Back up for bid is a 1974 Greeves 380 QUB Desert model. We've lowered the reserve cost. This special Greeves was owned by American Motorcyclist Hall Of Famer and USA Greeves distributor Nick Nicholson. Nick built this special for his desert and enduro events. The frame was nickel plated with a special removable lay down rear shocks, now moved back to it's original factory location (not pictured). Other features are Girling shocks front and rear, which are in good condition. English Avon tires are mounted on the OEM Dunlop rims. The nickel plating does shows it's patina like you would expect on a forty plus year old motorcycle. The late model Greeves alloy tank is in good shape with few minor blemishes. This model Greeves uses the Motoplat electronic ignition which makes it a quick and easy starter. After Nick's retirement, Nick sold the Greeves and his remaining inventory of Greeves parts to "Greeves Guru" Frank Conley who rode it on his annual "Greeves Days" fun rides.
