You are looking at a very cool 1971 Norton 750cc Commando. I recently found this sitting for some time with a collection of other motorcycles. The previous owner was going to fully restore this bike and never got around to it, so it was parked. This is a triple numbers matching bike, which means the numbers on the frames vin plate, transmission, and motor, all match. The bike is Florida titled in my name. The motor does kick over but it has not run in some time, so I am listing it as a non running project. I have provided 47 extra pictures below this description, so I am going to let them do the talking for me, but please ask all questions before bidding. Also please check out my other auctions. This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ...

Designed by Edgar Franks in 1933, the first run was almost identical to the Norton Model 18 except for the bore and stroke. The single-cylinder engine was 348 cc with pushrod operated overhead valves. Halted by World War II, production of the Model 50 single restarted in 1956. After 1959 the Model 50 gained the Featherbed frame, Lucas RM15 crank-mounted alternator (upgraded from magneto/dynamo used on 1957-58) coil ignition and improved lighting. First offered in 1968, based on their existing pre-unit parallel-twin design but with one key ingredient that makes this model special. To counteract the vibration that was so common in British twins the Commando used a new frame with an Isolastic mounting system. This system allowed the complete drivetrain to be rubber mounted so the rider feels no vibration, but the handling did not suffer. It worked so well the UK Cycle World magazine voted the Commando the motorcycle of the year for five years in a row. These bikes are extremely sought after and this one is a beautiful example of the 850cc electric ...

This was my everyday rider till 10 years ago when the magneto failed. I was going to restore it as a cafe racer hence the additional tank & seat. The G15 is fairly rare. Matchless frame & Norton 750 twin-cylinder engine. The G15 was often called the desert sled. This is a project bike. Believed to have about 13,000 original miles. Obviously not a stock bike, but a great base to restore back to original or as a custom project. Good compression, gearbox etc. Bike is dirty from storage and the chrome has minor pitting & rust. The grey tank is fiberglass. Very few miles on the tires. Title in hand.

This bike has one original owner and has all original parts. The bike has been garaged for the last 30 years but was running great before it was garaged. It does not currently start but wouldn’t take much to get her going. The bike has only 5400 miles on it and is in excellent shape with no dings, scratches or dents. Buyer is responsible for shipping, I can provide delivery within 100 miles of 92020 for an additional $100.

I've owned this beautiful bike since the summer of 1977 and it's been garaged ever since. She runs great, is winterized right now with a trickle charger on a one year old Motobatt MBTX14AU battery. She's got a Boyer-Bransden electronic ignition, single Mikuni VM34 carburetor, Barnett clutch plates, after market King/Queen seat, Metzeler ME880 100/90-19M/C57H tires and Sissy Bar & Luggage Rack. I've gone through this bike from top to bottom and end-to-end over the years and also professionally by the late Henry Kistner of Henry's Motorcycles in Kingsport, TN who re-valved the top-end a few years ago - she does not leak. Just a note to let you know how much I know about these bikes, I found a sister bike to this one a few years ago, a classic barn find in central Kentucky and proceeded to rebuild it end-to-end selling it to a motorcycle museum in New Zealand with 4000.1 miles on it. I've got a few crates of extra parts all included with the sale; take a look at the pics. I recently retired ...

This is a unique motorcycle. This is a Highly Modified 1967 Norton P11 If you are serious about purchasing this motorcycle, please read the entire description before contacting me. I have any detailed picture you desire. I have photo's of the entire restoration, from start to finish. Some of these photos were taken out of doors, and are much better at showing the high quality, and detail of this "build". The "Side Draft Carb set-up is no longer on the bike, the Air Cleaner was in the way of Kick-starting the bike. I replaced the side-draft set-up with a conventional manifold and a newly manufactured Amal Monoblock Carb. (All outdoor photo's show the side-draft set-up. The indoor photo's show the bike with the current Amal carb.) The bike runs and idles perfectly. My goal was to use the finest and most modern materials and craftmanship available, while still preserving the awesome essence of the original P11. The P11 was ahead of its time, and certainly was one of the first "dual purpose" ...
