Up for sale is this beautiful 1965 Bsa Rocket. I am the second owner of this bsa and i purchased it from a garage lot up in West Virginia. This Bsa is all original everything on the bike is original as you can see from the pictures, the bike was never restored and i don't see any rust on the bike. The paint is still original and still looks good for it's age, some minor scratches on tank but nothing major. Seat still original and looks to be in good condition for it's age. The bike is currently registered and insured in New York, starts right up and rides great with no problems. It's been always garage kept and only driven on a Sunday. The only thing i would say needs to be re chromed is the front fender because some of the chrome is peeling off with it's age. Please see all the pictures before buying this once in a lifetime gorgeous bsa, i am selling only because moving overseas. Any questions feel free to ask, i will be more then happy to answer. Or make offer thanks for reading.

Matching Numbers - Fresh restoration 1971 BSA B50MX Frame Number: B50MX PG00209 Engine Number: B50MX PG00209 The BSA B50 was introduced in 1971 as the largest iteration of BSA's four-stoke single that was originally introduced in 1958 as the 250cc C15 Star. The B50 MX turned out to be the last competition motorcycle announced by BSA, just as the financially strapped company's efforts were drawing to a close. The factory's closure was no reflection on the quality or design of any BSA, but instead of management and circumstance, as many company histories have pointed out. As it happened, the B50 MX was a truly fine design, one that foreshadowed today's lightweight four-stroke MXers. Its development had been driven by the great success of BSA's works machines in international motocross, and while based on its B44 Victor predecessors, the bottom end was a complete redesign with stronger cases, built-up crankshaft, larger crankpin and beefier connecting rod. The result was that the B50 had ...

This is a great barn find, a PRISTINE 1966 BSA Thunderbolt / Lightning A65L 650 that has literally been stored away for 50 years under wraps in an old estate garage and unused for decades. A very clean original - SIMPLY REMARKABLE (see photos)Only 3900 original miles on the clock.ENGINE # A65T8379FRAME # A50C.412 I don't know much about older BSA motorcycles so this bike is being listed and sold exactly the way I found it, as shown. We put some gas in it, trickled the carbs and it started right up and holds idle fine.I am told it's a 1966 Thunderbolt with a 1968 Lightning head on it because it has the duel MONOblock carburetors.Again, I don't know old BSA's well so the photos will show you the bike better than I can describe it.It's a clean beautiful bike for its age, very well preserved and near impossible to find with low mileage like this. A classic garage find here that has been stored away for decades.Looking for a good home with someone who can give it the TLC it deserves. Ready to ...

This is a project bike I've been working on, but realize I haven't got the time-or the inclination to finish it. The heavy lifting has been done: The lower end of the engine has a new main bearing and timing side bushing, and new rod bushings on a new crankshaft. Cams and followers are original and in good condition. The pistons are.020" oversize with new rings. The gearbox was overhauled at the same time as the work on the lower end of the motor was done. The generator was overhauled by Perry Gerhard (anybody remember him? He was good!).The chronometric speedometer was reconditioned. The frame and running gear are powder coated black, and the BSA beige paint was done at the same time. There are a few chips here and there, but nothing major. Not shown in the photos are the wheels, which are original and untouched. There is no exhaust system, no front brake-plate torque stay, and the cylinder head needs to have the valves ground in. Anybody who buys this bike will end up with a very nice early ...
