This is a great barn find, a PRISTINE 1966 BSA Thunderbolt / Lightning A65L 650 that has literally been stored away for 50 years under wraps in an old estate garage and unused for decades. A very clean original - SIMPLY REMARKABLE (see photos)Only 3900 original miles on the clock.ENGINE # A65T8379FRAME # A50C.412 I don't know much about older BSA motorcycles so this bike is being listed and sold exactly the way I found it, as shown. We put some gas in it, trickled the carbs and it started right up and holds idle fine.I am told it's a 1966 Thunderbolt with a 1968 Lightning head on it because it has the duel MONOblock carburetors.Again, I don't know old BSA's well so the photos will show you the bike better than I can describe it.It's a clean beautiful bike for its age, very well preserved and near impossible to find with low mileage like this. A classic garage find here that has been stored away for decades.Looking for a good home with someone who can give it the TLC it deserves. Ready to ...

I am selling a 1959 BSA Goldstar DBD34 Clubman motorcycle that came from the Estate of Kenneth J. Smith, Engine #DBD34 GS 4552 and Frame # CB32 8656. I have a Dating Certificate from the BSA Owners Club. The certificate conclusion is that this engine and frame were in all likelihood shipped from BSA to the US as currently mated. There appears to have been a hand written line that was transposed which has been noted as a likely human error. The documentation (BSA Owners' Club Dating Certificate) is clear and available (I can email it) should a serious buyer request it. I have little knowledge of this motorcycle other than the odometer shows less than 1100 miles since I was told by Ken prior to his death a complete engine rebuild had been completed. This rebuild had been done some years back by the person Ken purchased it from. This motorcycle starts easily (for a Goldstar I’m told) and runs, rides and shifts smoothly. I detect what I believe is a slight “piston slap” when the engine is ...

1967 BSA 500cc Royal Star twin with a very nicely constructed wood and alloy paneled reproduction of a vintage launch style sidecar that appears to be very well engineered. Rider quality motorcycle with new exhaust system and new tires as well as an upgraded electrical system including the wiring. Starts on one or two gentle prods of the kickstarter and settles to a low idle when up to temperature. Tracks nicely going down the road without excessive pull either way. Side car is very unique with the cowl being used to lock the door in place. Side car is light so when empty ballast is recommended. Side car is reasonably narrow at 17 inches wide so passengers with wide posteriors may have an issue fitting comfortably. Like all good British bikes, it does have some oil dripage . Up to the buyer to arrange transport after purchase, I do not think that this is a unit one would want to ride cross country. $500.00 deposit by PayPal within 72 hours and balance in cash within 2 weeks, any and all ...

Hello everyone. In this auction we have a BSA 441 Victor Special from 1966. The bike is numbered B44EA 3289. This is freshly rebuilt by Bore Tech in Batavia, OH and it runs great with 0 miles on it since the rebuild. It is a solid, solid machine with EVERYTHING working on it. . . this means that ALL the electrical works as it should and I have videos of it being started and idling (with the lights being demoed) for anyone who would like to see that. This bike has had loads of upgrades. It has a new crank pin, rod, piston, and valves. The kickstart assembly has been upgraded. It comes with flanged alloy rims, new Hagon shocks, the energy transfer ignition with a new modern ignition coil, new Dunlop tires, new stainless spokes, a new speedo drive and cables, and a NOS fuel petcock. This bike is priced to sell and, while it is not a 100 point Concours d’Elegance level bike (it could benefit from a detailing and some attention to a few small dings in the alloy gas tank), it is, however, one ...
