Up for sale is a original paint barn fresh BSA motorcycle. I was told this was a 1971. Bike kicks over and gas great compression. Previous owner stored with mystery oil in cylinders. He told me he rode it a couple times around the yard last yr. I know nothing about these bikes and never heard it run. Sold for parts or restoration. Also, I do not have a title. Bike will be sold with old NH registration And bill of sale only. Sold as is with no warranty. Shipping to be arranged by buyer or local pick up. Thanks On Jan-15-19 at 03:55:03 PST, seller added the following information: I reserve the right to end auction early as bike is also for sale locally. You can call me with questions at 508 847-2071. Thanks

This bike started life as a Cheney, oil in frame, [MRK3-401] B44 in 1967, it was used for MX/Scrambles. Round about 1974, it changed owners, the engine was replaced with a B50 CCM, its duties was switched to dirttrack. 1980 it switched owners and duties again. This time it was converted to the bobber style bike you see here. The builder, a dear friend, changed the forks, front and rear wheels to get better brakes. These are Suzuki parts. All I can really vouch for is the owner that built the bike in 1980. The engine was freshened up with a new 500 cylinder. The lower end was checked and verified a CCM, with the double crank bearings. Very few miles were put on it from that time on. Actually it has sat for the last 30 + years. Then my buddy died unexpectedly, I bought off of his widow. We addressed a intermittent spark issue, cleaned and set the points, cleaned the carb [Amal 932], fired right up! Sounds great, quiet [no unusual eng noises]. The exhaust is loud, as there is no muffler, ...

This BSA M20 motorcycle came in Greece (as the most BSA motorcycles), from Africa during, or just after WW2, for military use.On 50's all BSA were sold from Greek Army and Greek State bought Harley Davidson motorcycles from USA. This motorcycle was used until 70's, when the last owner left Greece and went to Canada. The bike was left in a barn. The new owner paint black the tank and put a new BSA logo on it. I think that this happened on 80's. I believe that someone add the M20 & tool box logo on 80's too.The good news is that engine turns...But carb came from an old BMW R25 (A "bing" carb c.1950) with carb filter....I have never try to ride this motorcycle. Never start up from me. I don't even know if it works or not.Tacho is missing... Tacho case is present, but with "some" rust...The only really bad news for someone who wants to restore this historical motorcycle, is the frame welding near the axle of the back wheel. (Please see all photos and especially these with the "tool box"). ...

This bike has been restored to original condition after being parked for at least 25 years. It is not to be confused with one that has been tidied up with a simple top end rebuild as it has been completely stripped to the bare frame, all hardware re-plated, all mechanical parts replaced, refurbished or serviced and the engine totally rebuilt by renowned BSA/TRIUMPH triple specialist Triple Tecs in Northern California for which I can supply the engine build sheet. It is not museum quality as some parts such as the chrome plating are in good but not perfect condition and left in this state as a concession to cost which is much less than a full restoration. However it is much admired and everyone agrees that it is a very handsome machine and it starts first kick and purrs over at idle! Only 2,500 Rocket 3's were built and maybe only half of them the Mark 2's so they are rare and becoming hard to find in this condition. Specifics of the bike can be viewed in the attached specification sheets. ...
