I bought this to restore for my dad. He owned these kind of bsa bikes when he was young. He is not into it anymore, so I will not be restoring it. The bike doesnít need much. The engine was rebuilt from what Iíve been told. There is an ID tag on the back that shows the rebuilt documentation. It has a new clutch and a new front tire. The bike could be ridden as is. It will need the generator connected if you want to run the light. It still runs I believe off the magneto. The tail light needs to be replaced as well. Besides that itís a great bike to leave in its original condition. I have a clean California title and registration for it. A true survivor bike. The engine is a 500cc and rides real nice. Fires right up with no problems 8185288513 if you are interested and have any more questions let me know. John On Jan-16-18 at 19:50:40 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention. I do have the bracket the connects the front fender to the axle from the rear of the front ...

This bike has won numerous awards the latest being Best BSA at the Norton Club Hansen Dam Ride last November. I did the frame up restoration in 2005 with Dean Collinson rebuilding the engine and Tony Markus the paint. The frame, forks and swing arm are powder coated as are all black parts. Rechromed wheels with stainless spokes, and installed new tires about 200 miles ago. Tri-spark ignition, custom exhaust header by Viking Exhaust of New Zealand, they make the engine breath much easier. The top end was redone 1,000 miles ago with rebore, new new .040 pistons and NOS Hepolite OEM rings. Head was redone as well and refit using copper cylinder base and rocker box base gaskets and composite head gasket along with FelPro viton stem seals, new valve springs, adjusters and replacement hardware as required. Retorks have been done. Pictures have never done the bike justice, if you can make it by in person you will appreciate what I'm talking about. With the Las Vegas Auctions coming up why not ...

For auction is a 1966 BSA A65 Lightnin motorcycle. This motorcycle was owned by a friend of mine who passed away within the last few months, and now I am responsible for selling his motorcycle as the executor of his estate. I did not want to attempt to start this motorcycle and damage something. It does seem to have good compression in the engine. I noticed that my friend had it plated back in 2007, so I assume it was running approximately 10 years ago. This motorcycle is being sold as is where it is. The box of parts in the photo is included with the motorcycle. Please note: I don't know the true mileage since the odometer is in the box and not on the motorcycle. The winning bidder must pay and pickup motorcycle within 7 days of auction ending.

68 BSA Lightning (A65LB) A matching numbers bike that will require a total rebuild. Been sitting since the 80's. Motor turns over and its complete. No broken fins. A small dent (half dollar size) in the tank but the tank will shine up and be very usable as is. Of coarse the Red paint has faded away. Clutch basket is rusty with no plates. Missing one side cover. Long Fork tubes but stock Lower Fork Legs. No Title. BOS only. Questions 512.791.6146. If weather warms up I'll do some cleaning on it. If going over seas I can pull the front end and lay it beside the bike on a pallet if you want to ship it as parts. Worldwide Shipping.

Up for auction with no reserve is my Ď67 BSA Hornet which was restored by Classic Cycles LTD in NJ about 4 years ago. The bike has been lightly used since it was fully rebuilt and is not 100% perfect, but still remains an excellent example of a unique 60s British competition machine. The engine and chassis were fully gone through and rebuilt during the restortion and the bike was repainted and polished to look like new again. It no longer features the ET style ignition. It now has a traditional battery and Lucas alternator along with a Boyer electronic ignition. The Smithís tach is fully functional and the bike now features a small LED tail/brake light for road use. It has a new wiring harness and adding a headlight would be very simple. This Hornet starts easy and runs very strong. The correct Amal Monobloc carbs are tuned and really help the bike run well. Clutch and gearbox operate nicely as does the mechanical drum brakes. Suspension and steering also function as you would expect. ...

This is a barn find, a PRISTINE 1966 BSA Thunderbolt / Lightning A65L 650 that has literally been stored away almost 50 years UNDER WRAPS in an old estate garage and unused for decades. A very clean original - SIMPLY PRISTINE IN ALL WAYS, REMARKABLE (see photos)Only 3400 original miles on the clock.ENGINE # A65T8379FRAME # A50C.412 I don't know much about older BSA motorcycles so this bike is being listed and sold exactly the way I found it, as shown. As of yet I have not tried to start it, the engine is free and it has compression but I'm sure it will need a good cleaning before trying to start it after sitting stored in a garage for decades.I am told it's a 1966 Thunderbolt with a 1968 Lightning head on it because it has the duel MONOblock carburetors.Again, I don't know old BSA's well so the photos will show you the bike better than I can describe it.It's a clean beautiful bike for its age, very well preserved and near impossible to find with low mileage like this. A classic garage find ...

Built to replicate the only swing-arm framed vertical twin in the famous 1954 BSA Daytona 200 sweep - the 2nd place-winning BSA of Dick Klamfoth. I personally hand selected the frame and engine from the inventory at Frank Deihl's Classic Cycle Works when I started the project in March of 2013. I specified the selection of nearly every part and component aimed at achieving the highest standard of period authenticity, mechanical functionality and beauty. The A10 frame is powder-coated and the engine is stamped CA10 SR 991 - which according to Roy Bacon's BSA Twins & Triples, left the Birmingham factory in a 1959 BSA Spitfire Scrambler. I had the original 4-gallon BSA-manufactured tank stripped, re-chromed and repainted; it features the pear-shaped acrylic badges and knee grips. Oil tank and tool cover were painted simultaneously to match tank - all using silky gloss black single-stage paint. RK Leighton in Birmingham UK built the solo seat to my order - a perfect replica of the 1950's BSA ...

***NOTICE: eBay requires sellers to choose title status from their list. None is not an option. This race bike has no title just a bill of sale***Cheney Victor (500cc)This "Cheney Victor" was hand built by Eric Cheney sometime around 1971-73. It spent the majority of it's life in California until the current owner moved up to Washington. It has still been raced up until this last race season. It was even raced by AMA champion Joe Kopp at an AHRMA vintage motocross race. The bike has the usual Cheney goodies like a nickle plated frame, alloy tank and number plates, BSA B50 500cc engine, turned (shaved) Ceriani forks and triple trees, Akront rims. Some of the racing mods done through out the years are Works Performance shocks, alloy bars, motion pro type throttle, nice levers, Mikuni carb etc. An interesting mod is that it seems to have an early Yamaha (?) CDI ignition. I'm not sure if that was from Cheney or when/who did that, but it's very cool. This bike fires up and runs very well, very ...
